Tags are a great way to explore the work on this site.

When viewing a photo/video/news item, look to the lower left of the screen and you'll see a series of tags. These are words that have been cross-referenced against all the other work on the site. So if you see a the words "81 Megapixel" in the tags section, clicking it would display [all photos that are 81 Megapixels] (/tag/81_Megapixel/).

So, by clicking a tag you're performing a site-wide search for that phrase.

Searching by tags can be more effective than organizing by folders or categories since tags can connect items regardless of hierarchy.
