What is a viewing?: Planck Studios Chicago Prints and Photos

What is a viewing?

A viewing is an opportunity to see my work in person. Viewings are generally private events where we can meet, view and discuss my work. I can design the viewing around you, hand selecting specific images, based on your interest. Or, you can browse the entire library of my work. Contact me directly to discuss the type of viewing you'd like to have.

Where do viewings take place?

Depending on your priorities, a viewing can take place in several locations:

Studio

Into learning more about my process and seeing the equipment I use? A studio visit is the best way to see my work. At my studio I can offer you the largest variety of prints in different sizes - both framed and unframed.

Your Space

Want to see how the work will look in a specific environment? I have travel portfolios with the smallest version of each print. I can bring these to your home or office for a private viewing.

Gallery

Interested to see a framed body of work, hanging in a local gallery? Should I be showing, I can setup a private viewing around your schedule.

Am I expected to purchase anything?

Absolutely not. This is simply a chance for you to enjoy my work in person. I do not require payment for this opportunity, nor do I expect you to make a purchase.

Can I purchase your work at a viewing?

Absolutely. It is common for a viewing to result in a purchase. I am prepared to accept cash, checks or PayPal transactions, regardless of location.

When can I schedule a viewing?

I generally like to have 7 days notice when scheduling a viewing. This allow me to prepare the work and/or negotiate a convenient time for all involved. I understand this is not always possible, so please let me know your situation and I will do my best to accommodate you.
